Output III UrbA-CliMa project (EViMACC) – Expertise exchange of Maghreb Cities on Urban Adaptation to Climate Change
As Output III of the regional project Urban Adaptation to Climate Change in the Maghreb (UrbA-CliMa), commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and carried out by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, EViMACC (Expertise Exchange of Maghreb Cities on Urban Adaptation to Climate Change), led by MedCities, serves as a regional platform for peer learning and cooperation among Maghreb cities. Building on the results of previous phases of UrbA-CliMa, EViMACC promotes the exchange of expertise, the transfer and replication of effective climate adaptation practices, including nature-based solutions, and the strengthening of local capacities to foster resilient and sustainable urban development across the region.
