Ubicaempresa: How to locate your business in the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona
“Ubicaempresa” is a project led by the Economic and Social Development Agency of the AMB, Metropolis Barcelona, aimed at helping businesses find the best real state opportunities in the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona.
The platform allows users to search for different types of properties for businesses (warehouses, industrial plots, offices, and retail premises) available for rent in all the municipalities within the AMB (Àrea Metropolitana de Barcelona) and the rest of the province of Barcelona due to an agreement. It also offers tools to track the evolution of the real estate market, providing indicators and statistics.

Ubicaempresa is a free, high-quality real estate search engine that offers high-value statistical information for investors who want to invest in the metropolitan territory or companies and entrepreneurs looking for business accommodation to develop their activity. It offers a large amount of filtering to facilitate searches based on specific needs, provides indicators of the evolution of the real estate market, and generates personalized downloadable reports.
The portal is upgraded frequently to offer its users the best experience, the offers displayed on the web have their information and location improved before uploading and the data is updated weekly. The offers are gathered and selected from Habitaclia, Idealista, and Yaencontré, three real estate portals with whom the AMB has a data transfer agreement.
Due to an agreement with the Provincial Council (Diputació de Barcelona) and the County Councils (Consells Comarcals), the data and web statistics range reaches the whole province of Barcelona.
Impact and results
Ubicaempresa search engine helps companies find warehouses, industrial plots, offices, and retail premises of 834 economic activity zones in 315 municipalities located in the metropolitan area and the province of Barcelona.
The real estate portal also helps investors, companies, and consultants make well-informed decisions thanks to the statistical data on the evolution of the real estate market.
