Project description

The Municipality of El Prat de Llobregat has 63.000 inhabitants and can influence factors like environment, lifestyles, personal skills and abilities and in this way create opportunities for a healthy lifestyle. Intervening in the social, cultural and physical environment they can create new frames for healthier citizens.
The Local Health Plan wants to be the result of a working progress that will allow recognizing and evaluating the decisions, actions and programs that are being developed in different fields (mobility, culture, and sports, ) and identify the health challenges that need to be addressed.

This project has three different parts:
The first part is the organization, including the presentation of the plan to the key actors, and the organization of the members that will join the project, etc. The second part of the health project is the analysis; focussing on the challenges and priorities of the health programs of the European Union, the health challenges in the city of el Prat de Llobregat, through a qualitative analysis made by the key actors of the city and finally a quantitative analysis with the actual data in health facilities, problems, etc. from the citizens of El Prat de Llobregat.

The last part, after the analyses of part two (data city of El Prat de Llobregat, European Union, opinions of the key actors etc.) is a meeting to share the proposal and the strategies of the health plan and the necessary modifications after the consultation with key actors.
