The “brief guide on participatory processes from a gender perspective” is one of the results of the COHESIMED project, which took place in the cities of Tetuan (Morocco) and Saida (Lebanon) with funding from the City Council of Barcelona. As one of its final activities, MedCities organised an online training for its member cities on “Urban planning from a gender perspective in the Mediterranean” in december 2021. The guide summarizes the contents of this online training and was produced by “Col.lectiu Punt 6”, a Barcelona-based cooperative specialised in urban planning from a feminist perspective.
This brief guide is a tool that promotes community participation and action as an essential element of urban planning from a gender perspective.
