AMBici wants to create the maximum possible synergies with the public transport system of the metropolis of Barcelona. The main measure to achieve this goal will be to locate some stations in the closest environment to high-demand public transport stations. This will facilitate intermodality between means of public transport, such as the Metropolitan Bus, the metro, the tram, the railway, etc. investment The AMBici was created by the AMB and will be managed by Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB).
It is a project funded with 7 million euros by the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan – Funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU and represents a new impetus to enhance and facilitate sustainable mobility options in the metropolis of Barcelona.
