Booklet on urban and peri-urban agriculture, distribution and commercialisation and, social cohesion
DESCRIPTION
MedCities Network and the Union of Municipalities of Dannieh (Lebanon) with the support the Catalan Agency of Development and Cooperation launched a project to enhance the role of municipalities on the activation of local food security and social inclusion through building capacity for urban and peri-urban agriculture production especially addressing the vulnerable population.
As a part of training, an educational training booklet has been produced summarizing the most important concepts on urban and peri-urban agriculture, commercialisation and distribution of agricultural products, and the design of social cohesion projects using urban agriculture.
