Integrated Modelling Tool (IMT)
DESCRIPTION
REMEDIO implements an Integrated Modelling Tool (IMT), jointly developed by scientific partners, to support a transition to a low carbon mobility system in already congested cities of the Mediterranean region.
The IMT is composed by eight individual modules that cover the main traffic impacts of the city and its inhabitants. It also provides stakeholders and decision-makers the possibility to analyse the main effects over the current congested roads, as well as analysing the effects of applying potential soft-actions to mitigate the road-congestion problems.
RELEVANCE
The integrated Modelling Tool (IMT) is a software capable to reproduce and analyse traffic situations in urban areas. With this information decision makers have a useful tool to redesign different sustainable urban mobility scenarios.
