Short Bio

Mohammed Zawahreh is head of the Local development Unit in Zarqa’s Municipality (Jordan), his mission is to maximize opportunities for social and economic development while retaining an attractive, sustainable and secure environment for the enjoyment of residents and visitors. Municipality will strive to improve the quality of life for all residents living and working in the city. He is also keen to positively change the image of the Jordan Municipality by enhancing civil participation, encouraging people to play an active role and becoming a real partner in decision making.
